BAGHDAD — When an Iraqi journalist hurled his shoes at George W. Bush last month at a Baghdad press conference, the attack spawned a flood of Web quips, political satire and street rallies across the Arab world. Now it's inspired a work of art. A sofa-sized shoe statue was unveiled Thursday in Tikrit, the hometown of the former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.

So I guess being meet as liberators and being praised for freeing the Iraq people isn't quiet what history is showing and I don't think Bush ever would of thought in his crazy mind that a statue would be built after he left office for a man that threw a shoe at him. I just wonder if this will be in the history book that Bush rewrites in few years.

That thing looks my 7th grade paper mache project. Certainly nothing to be proud of. I was expecting a life size bronze statue when I read the title.

I give it about 5 months in the weather before it shrivels up. Too funny!!
