No kidding.

Even in my current job, if I have a great idea and present it to my supervisor, it gets shot down. I get my friend/male coworker to pitch the same idea, it is a great.

I don't think people step back and look at the whole picture.

If most of the supervisors are white males, good chances are things are not fair. Should it be based on population compiltation? sure.

But my last job, that was horribly discriminating. It was 65% women. 40% minorities. There were 15 supervisory positons. 13 held by white men, the second by an asian man, the third was a leggy female in sales.

Just what in the holy hell are you talking about? I'm a white male and I have never, never been told that women and minorities are more important in hiring or job performance. I see sex, age, and race discrimination at every jobsite I go to. I'm an independent contractor.

Companies should be able to pay anyone whatever they choose. If ya don't like it go work for some hippies!
oh thats right, hippies don't work! This all apart of OBAMA'S plan to institute MUSLIM policies with his ZIONIST vision!

Next thing he'll do is give healthcare to liberals who will all just stop working because liberals are not AMERICANS! Then I will have to get shots next to a guy who doesn't work because he is on welfare. You know all them people carry diseases and can give you homosexualness if they cough to much!

How is this socialism? It's merely a bill designed to allow for women to have equal pay as men get. It's not meant to make the employee at walmart make as much as someone as a scientist in a high tech organization or something like that.

Nope, just a different country and probably a different generation.

None of my female friends have ever complained of being short changed in this manner.

I feel discrimination has naturally decreased over the years. This kind of central legislation is meaningless and outdated, just like affirmative action based on race.

This type of legislation will tie the hands of an employer.

I believe in equal pay for equal productivity.That would mean in a quota system you are paid for what you produce.
This law hinges upon job title/qualification not the productivity of the employee.

In all fairness should a company be forced to pay employees the same wage when one may not be as productive as another?
Most companies live and die by the eighth hour of the day.When you divide all the employment costs,break times and non business related down time.In the eight hour day most business doesn't see real profit until the last hour.When you have less productive employees they end up costing you money to keep them employed.
