Economic troubles bring many to the brink

I just thought I would share this. I know two people that killed themselves over money/job related issues BEFORE the economy went bad. It happens a lot even when the economy is booming. With the economy going down people are going to be desperate trying to hold on to those cars and houses and cell phones and nice clothes and wont be able to do so. There was a story in a local newspaper about how many people throughout the US said they wouldnt cut back on the money they spent on their children no matter what it meant. This logic is so flawed.

"The things you own end up owning you" has never been truer.
