Idaho food banks and a Washington state homeless shelter appear to have gotten donated fish pulled from an Idaho lake without being aware of a state warning about high mercury levels in such fish. Low-income residents and those helping feed them hadn't been told of the potential risks of mercury, which at high levels can damage the human nervous system, Food Bank distributed 4,700 pounds of lake trout and whitefish gillnetted from the lake in 2008. The consumption of fish is by far the most significant source of ingestion-related mercury exposure in humans

Mercury is a neurotoxin that is particularly damaging to the developing brain.symptoms include peripheral neuropathy (presenting as paresthesia or itching, burning or pain), skin discoloration (pink cheeks, fingertips and toes), edema (swelling), and desquamation (dead skin peels off in layers).
Affected children may show red cheeks and nose, erythematous lips (red lips), loss of hair, teeth, and nails, transient rashes, hypotonia (muscle weakness), and photophobia. Other symptoms may include kidney disfunction (e.g. Fanconi syndrome) or neuropsychiatric symptoms (emotional lability, memory impairment, insomnia).

So who actually fished the fish, and why weren't they informed about it?, surely if you are going fshing you like to keep an eye on the rules and regulations on the lake you are going to be taking the fish from?
That surely should have had asome sort of red flag to say the fish were contaminated.

Or is it something more sinister? Like trying to poison off the 'unwanted' populace.?

( This IS a conspiracy site after all?)
