Stimulus Bill some details

I started to look at how the "stimulus" money was going to be spent and am having a hard time justifying this.

$43 billion to extend unemployment benefits.
That will just keep people poor. It doesn't stimulate anything.

$20 billion increase in welfare benefits.
Just keeps poor people poor.

$40 billion to subsidize health care for unemployed.
Stimulates insurance companies that offer COBRA

$87 billion for Medicaid

$41 billion in grants to local schools.

$16 billion to boost Pel Grants

My opinion is that not enough is being spent on projects that will generate actual jobs. I'm having doubts about this level of spending with the details that are offered in the article.

Why couldn't they just pay small businesses to hire people ?

No ammount of money spending ANYWHERE is gonna help anything friend.

Sorry to break it to you, but printing more money and creating more debt, only leads to more debt.

The solution to the crisis is simple, nobody wants to admit it, but it still stands true.

We need to let it all burn, let go down to the ground and then rebuild it anew with a different economy, not based on debt.

All of this in the media about this stimulas package and Obama's administration is only to deter you from what is really going on in the world.

Remember, there are Ninja's on your lawn...go look for them.

The government wants to stimulate the economy by spending tax payer money on non stimulated programs. Even if they gave us the money it wouldn't work. People would spend their stimulus money at walmart thus stimulating China. People who spend it on gasoline will go anywhere but America. If you purchase a computer it will go to India. If you purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico , Honduras , and Guatemala. Most cars are from Toyota, Nissan, Honda so that money would go to Japan.

Let's see, the only businesses left to spend it on here in America is yard sales, baseball/football games, prostitutes, tattoos and beer. Nice going America/government. Thanks for running all the companies out with so many tax codes and penalties. The only stimulus package we'll get in this country is one that stimulates the pockets of our politicians and their friends.
