Right now, there are many people out of work.
Unemployment could reach much higher numbers than we've seen in many decades.
Isn't it time that we address the issue of employment for citizens first?
We don't need to have even more people move to our country when there aren't enough jobs to go around.
We don't need to issue more HB1 visas sothat we can have programmers from india come to work at microsoft.
We need to verify that people are citizens of our country and/or here legally before they get offered a job and/or be retained on the payroll.
I think that it's time that countries take care of their citizens first. Immigration can wait until more people are needed.
