HR 17 Citizen's Self Defense Act of 2009

Reading this bill I have to completely agree. I think this is a fine piece of legislation and it should be nationwide our right to defend ourselves.

In Colorado this is referred to as the Make My Day Law. It's use has been proven time and again to deter crime. I think legislation on this scale is necessary and prudent in this country and I applaud the senator for proposing it.

Arkansas actually has a law such as this in place. The law was beefed up a couple of years ago to include outbuildings and equipment. It seems bad guys were stealing things off farm equipment, and stealing gas. Don't get caught trying to steal something around here.
