There's a pretty cool site called "coverbrowser".
You can browse through the covers of magazines, comic books, even rock albums.
I spent about 2 hours on there last night, clicking through the covers of Life magazine, and Mad Magazine (one of my favorites in the 70's).
The Life covers were particularly interesting, because it was a weekly, there are tons and tons of them. And a great way to see history through the
media of the time. Pick an important day in history, and browse the covers, just before, and just after the date. Pearl Harbor, JFK, Apollo 11. You
may also be surprised at how things have stayed the same, and only the clothes are different.
