I recently read the book "Molon Labe" by Boston T. Party. After reading the book I did a little research on the author. I ended up at the Freestate Wyoming website. The book is about people that want to live life without the nanny state rules that we now all live under. In the book the state of Wyoming is taken over, peacefully, and the laws are changed to be more Constitutional. IE: state power > Federal power.
Anyway after reading the book and going to the web site, I get the feeling people are actually trying to do this. It is a very interesting concept, one where states actually end up seceding from the union. There have been quite a few recent posts about the breakup of the united states, civil war, etc. The way it was done in the book it was peaceful. The premise I must admit was quite brilliant. Should 51% of the people be able to impose thier will on 49%? If half want blue, and the other half want yellow, is the solution green?
What are your thoughts?

There are "Free State" movements in quite a few states.
The Free State Project is what drew me to New Hampshire.
