If I was working for the DoD, I would want to know the effective range on that thing. Think of it's viability as a breaching tool or tank buster. If you could get a range of 100+ yards out of that thing you would have quite the weapon. Although very fragile.

Yes it is truly amazing and scary at the same time. If they'll weaponize it? I think so. The U.S government would do anything to be ahead of other countries like China and Russia. It'll be perfect for a satellite!

Just imagine all those war, or ideological, or for whatever reason, prisoners put on a movable disassembling line and "treated" with the Power of Roasting Mirrors! They would simply sublimate without leaving any trace...

Well - I am happy to say - I wasn't buning ants... : ( -
but I did attempt to burn everything else. : )
Yes - it is a totally logical extension of childsplay - and a great survival tool.
