Ahh Ningaloo, Is there anything near as beautiful as you.

Ive just returned from a lightning trip through Exmouth, in Australia's Pilbra region, home to the famous Ningaloo Reef.

This site has one of the top 10 diving sites in the world, the Navy Pier.
Over all the trip cost me $1000, including air fare, dives and 4 nights at a reasonable hostel/resort village.

It was 42oC and humid, the dirt was red and raw.

Emu's walked the streets, lizards roamed the pathways and snakes lay in the grass.

It was a town consiting of 1 bakery, 1 small food shop, 1 chinese shop, 1 servo ' fuel station ' and about 4 diving companies, and as you can see, its very remote.

This was the first on a list of 10 diving trips I intend on taking.

My plan, to dive the TOP 10 dive spots in the world.

Next, is either Vanuatu, or Micronesia.

The photos arent the best of the lot, and with a $400 digital that can go 40m underwater they arent to bad, specially being its my first attempt of underwater photography. but i think some better ' and unfortunately more expensive ' equipment is needed.

Nice pics, I want to go up there to Ningaloo, but the furtherest north along the coast Ive been is Shark Bay. Was it cheaper to fly than drive?
