Open your eyes and look?

Today I learned something profound that filled me full of hope in this "Bad news" world.

The human spirit can be re charged if we only take a minute to look at what we have, instead of what we think we should have to be part of this downward social spiral we are on.

I am a grandfather (3 grandkids) and have just been blessed with the most beautifull new grandaughter and I have another grandchild due in July.

She is totally unblemished by this world we have created and is helpless in every way possible.

Today she held my finger and I felt a sense of awe. I am not religious in any way but now I firmly believe that someone or something is keeping us safe and right as far as the future is concerned.

There are far to many bad news stories in the world so I thought I would share a nice moment with everyone here on ATS.

Please look at what you have, look at the beauty that is always there but you dont notice it. I am a lucky man.
