Asking for Help - Ewing's Sarcoma in my three year old Son

I have been studying an item called MMS or Miracle Mineral Supplement. It is very popular in the South America countries and has been praised for curing many people from cancer. I would recommend keeping an open mind to new cancer cures - use your time to study all avaiable cures. By the way there is a cancer doctor in southwest Florida (Naples I believe) that has found an / old / new procedure that uses radio waves - yes radio waves to distroy cancer cells. This new procedure is not new and was succussful years and years ago. It never made the light of day to the public. Like I said - keep an open mind - hopefully you won't need any of these new procedures. God bless your son and your family - my thoughts and prays are with you.

I am deeply sorry for your son's illness. I know that parents would rather have things happen to them rather than their children. When a child has a serious illness, it is a very difficult thing for everyone... Doctors and nurses included.

My speciality isn't in pediatric oncology.... but I did find a bit of information from the "medical side" of things.

I am all for natural therapies, as long as they don't interfer with the conventional chemo treatments. The one thing that I can add with respect to the organic fruits and vegetables is this: Make sure that you wash the produce well before serving it to your little guy. You should also exercise caution when the nadir portion of the chemo treatment occurs. His immune system will be weakened at this point. It typically occurs 14-21 days after chemo treatments (but this varies depending on the type of Chemo, the dosage, and the schedule). Your doctor will have more information on it.

Thank you for that info and your thoughts. I am worried about the little dude when he hits that nadir. I am exploring all options regarding immune system health. Boy is he going to be pissed when Slurpies are outlawed...

Thanks for that prevenge. My sister's little dude has neoblastoma (what are the chances?) and in her studies she too believes cancer may be a fungus...even our oncolologist feels it may be - of course, no one "knows" so to speak, but I think they are getting closer to finding out the why part of it. Thanks again.

Request every scan, X-ray, MRI, CT scan be copied onto a disc for your records.

In the case of chemo therapy there may be a variety of different therapies given to determine the most effective. The advocate should document each therapy and the side effects and effectiveness associated with each therapy.

In short, the advocate should be your "case expert" and will become a valuable resource for the many Dr.s and nurses that care for your child.

The most important advice I can give you is to stay strong and have faith, pray, You will find God will deliver the right people to you at the right time.

Your post had an immediate impact and I am thinking about an advocate right now. That is a great idea. Thanks for all of the advice and I can't agree more. The difficulty is balancing trust with a lack of knowledge, as of right now. Thanks again and I'll take it to heart.

im not sure of the mix ratio but if ou read the full article it will tell you...
it's something like:
1/4 bi carbonate of soda
3/4 maple syrup
put in fry pan, heat it up and mix together and stir for 5 minutes. Apparently this will bind the two together.
take two table spoons per day for 1 week, then take 1 table spoon for one week. Apparently because cancer cells absorb 15 times the amount of glucose (sugar) as a normal cell, the sugary maple syrup binded witht he bi-carb of soda goes like this. cell eats the glucose but because its binded with bi-carb, the sudden change in the PH level of the cell will kill it.

I've also heard this is the same treatment someone ele has said. Treat it like a fungus... use bi-carbonate of soda....

Mix 1 part baking soda to 3 parts maple syrup
Heat rigorously in a pan for 5 minutes
Take two teaspoons of the mixture per day for the first week and then one teaspoon per day for weeks two and three - the remedy should not be continued after three weeks

Also i've read another thing in a nexus magazine where some dude had cancer and got rid of it using alot of selenium (which is large doses can be bad for you btw). Selenium is a very very good anti-oxidant and has strong anti-cancer properties.

Also i'm pretty sure there was a thread about vitamin d-12, or someting like that.. it contains great anti-cancer properties. i think you can get taht from eating apricot kernels i think it was. Actually i read in a magazine a few days ago called HARDEVIDENCE, that one of the best anti-cancer things is like vitamin D and plenty of sunlight so it gets converted properly or something.

I'd recommend buying this magazine called hard-evidence... it had a black cover on it, saying blah blah blah obama - a conspiracy magazine btw. But at the ack of it it had heaps of things in there about anti-cancer properties and which vitamins and minerals to take.... and it had statisticas about how good they are at fighting and reducing cancer....

Seriously give it a go.Is there anything to stop you trying some of these? Is maple sugar and bicarb going to hurt your child? Are vitamins and a bit of sunshine going to hurt? or eating some kernels? Keep researching on this website as there have been many anti-cancer threads made all providing good information....

thank you for spending the time to compile so much information so quickly. It is amazing to me how many people offer help and thoughts when they don't know someone. I suppose throughout this we'll see both the best and worst in people. Regardless the positive support is so needed and we are thankful. Get yourself a psychologist (or any other therapist/clergyperson/etcetera). There will be loads of people watching out for your son – all of their advice will filter through you – and somehow you have to hold yourself together and not let the disease eat you. Take care of yourself whenever and however you can.

This advice continues to come up and thus I am taking it seriously. I am doing everything to remind myself I am no good to the little man if I am worn down, angry, etc. We are ALL going on "the plan" in the family and we are all going to make sure we take care of ourselves. Sorry about being late to the thread and all.

First off, let me express how sorry I am for you and your family. Now thats out of the way, lets talk about what you can do about it:

I gather you are in Denver. i would highly reccomend that you see the specialist in Oncology at

I know them by reputation only but based on that its a good one. You will want an PEDIATRIC oncologist, not an adult one. As well meaning as they may be you want a specialist. (If they are not an option, Primary Childrens Hospital in Utah is also quite good)

Right now the best survival rates are those treated with surgery, chemo, and radiation. As long as the tumor is not too big these offer an 80% 5 year survival rate. (5 years of cancer free is considered beating it and any other cancer that shows up after is considered a "new" one)

You decide whats best for your little one not anybody else!

There are tons of resoruces avalible for you to look at online.

If you have any specific question you can feel free to u2u me and Ill do my best to translate the medspeak for you.

I read an earlier reply that attitude is everything and I think that that is spot on IMHO. Kids pick up thier parents emotions and feeling even at a young age. You need to keep that positive attitude as much as possible.

CJ my heart goes out to you and your little one. I cannot understand how you are calm and researching this. I think i would crumble and not be able to cope. You too are obviously a very brave person and if your son has just half the courage you have shown then that cancer is gonna get its ass kicked.

This makes me understand how lucky my own are yet how vunrable we all are also. Im not a religious person although raised a roman catholic and i have not prayed for years but be assured im going to be asking God to help your little one.

Keep your chin up and let him see you positive. That way his positive attitude should kick in and make him fight.
