Please Help! Free online phone directory

Hi,

I was hoping someone may be able to assist in sourcing a online phone book / directory for the united states.

I am trying to trace a long lost family member urgently but unfortunately every online phone book i go to, only seem to offer a subscription service which i need to pay for.

I was desperately hoping that someone can point me in the right direction.

i think you need to narrow your search to a specific city or area, and i've always used the online 411 directory.
