You Tube has permanently suspended another major 9/11 truth account in a continuation of the purge that began following efforts by the establishment to smear the 9/11 truth movement as terrorist propaganda.

You Tube has previously been caught blocking 9/11 truth videos from entering into top ranking charts for both views and comments despite their enduring popularity.

It also has a record of wanton censorship in deleting videos that are artistically crafted compilations and the furthest possible thing from copyright violation, such as the “Question Your Reality” video.

You Tube has now completely deleted the “OneDeadDJ” user account, which was used to display videos on Prison Planet.com, and in particular video clips relating to the BBC reporting the collapse of Building 7 over 20 minutes in advance.

Why are they deleting more and more vids from youtube - regarding 911?

Is it because they don't want it out there and for people to insist to our new President - to reopen 911?

First, I dont' think President Obama would, because the type of crisis that would come from it - could not be handled.

It seems there is more and more of an effort to make anyone who believes that Bush and his people are the ones who committed 911 - as terrorist themselves.

But I guess youtube, is no longer about "free speech" .

You Tube users started noticing an increase in account suspensions and videos being removed following a demand from Senator Joe Lieberman that You Tube remove all content deemed “terrorist propaganda”.

As we saw at a House Homeland Security Subcommittee hearing on “Terrorism and the Internet” in November 2007, questioning the official 9/11 story behind 9/11 is now being classified as aiding terrorist propaganda by some sectors of the establishment.

Maybe it is time for people to delete YouTube from their favorites folder. There must be another fledgling video uploader out there who would be happy to get the traffic that Youtube obviously doesn't want?

The problem they have in censoring youtube is that once they delete one user account a few dozen users reupload the material.

There is a new paradigm here that has not fully sunk into the head of the controllers. They can try and control the servers all they want, but the users are already networked in a multinodal manner (irc, mensseger, facebook and cº, blogs, sms, etc), and as such have alternative information paths springing up almost instantly. It's an unwinnable war, trying to censor the internet in it's current technological iteration. Now, if they manage to monopolise it, either through a long term aquisition program (and they print money out of thin air so it's possible) or through technological substitution (internet 2 folks? It's fast as crap out of a cannon, as long as you get what we feed you...), if they do these things they might get some headway. The time is now, either people fight for their information freedom, which is a cornerstone for personal freedom in the modern age, or they will lose everything.

And fight here is not even the adequate term. It's probably better to just state: Internet. Either you use it or you will lose it.

You know I would feel sorry about if it were me I would use my own space on a site I own. Cause really It makes all the more sense.

Oh wait I do that now.. Oh well I guess thats that.. Buy your own space if you are that passionate about something and stop whining about someone taking away your acct for something you add on their site.

Oh yeah, here we go.

The truth is getting out now, "ordinary" ppl are starting to see that there is something wrong with the official 911 fairy tail, so the censoring begins. Dont let the sheeps jump over the fence.

Time to jump ppl, before the fence gets taller.

Good for you at least you are being proactive.

It is time for all us to stop sitting on our butts and complaining about things we don't like, that we think are unfair or wrong. When is it going to sink in that it is nobody else's duty to fight for you when you are not willing to fight for yourself. Nobody else is going to do it so stop waiting. Fix it yourself.

Speaking of networking I'm a hosting developer. If you have some stuff that I would deem worthy or truthful(especially sited or referenced) of myself regarding 911 I'll mirror it for ya

If these videos had copyrighted BBC content without authorization, that's a violation of the youtube TOS, so no surprise there.

If prisonplanet wants to post videos on their site, they should host them instead of relying on youtube...especially if those videos are in violation of youtube's TOS.

So how do we fix this?
Youtube is a company it probably can do whatever it wants. It could close down over night if they wanted to.

Guess we need an 'opensource' youtube.

When does this censorship end?!
They seem so desperate to make these moves
and delete accounts. Sweeping anything they can
under the rug.

Lately I have been using www.disclose.tv...
to view material that would be deemed inapropriate
by youtube.

The only reason I use youtube, is cause half the videos
here are taken from there. Otherwise, I don't use em.
I don't have an account. Never have, never will.

I urge ATS users to find a new source if possible.
Screw this youtube.

The solution is to fuse youtube with a bittorrent like distributed content platform, so that people basically act as servers for each other. Kazaa and limewire are examples of how this could work, only with a video interface.

I predict something along these lines will popup in the next 3 years and change the game, again. Open source distributed computing is the next big thing, and it will blow censorship and IP control out of the water.

Hey, don't shoot the messenger, information wants to be free...

We are close to launching our own video sharing site, as part of AboveTopSecret.com. Any member will be able to upload videos... especially 9/11 conspiracy theory videos.

Stay tuned.

Skeptic,

Again another brilliant Idea from the ATS staff. That is EXACTLY what we need. Our own youtube like service. Youtube is shady and it's all too often that they will erase or delete or suspend somebody's account or video because the youtube owners disagree with the content, which isn't violating any sorta of indecency type of laws. Porn I understand censoring on youtube. A video speculating about govt. ill-doing I don't.

They are trying to play damage control or hide some sort of truth. Having a place for the videos to be viewed without undue censor for people to judge and speculate for themselves is not only the morally right thing to do it's rather thoughtful and bright.

Furthermore it's also a really good way to get more people to check out ATS and to participate and it's a brilliant way to create a safe haven and environment for leaders and high profile figures in the conspiracy world a home on the internet that will nearly guarantee exposure for both their theory's and work along with ATS. It could spur on rapid growth of the website. be prepared if your not already for potential membership to grow quickly.

I dont have anything to add to the topic except you can use the link in my sig to download youtube videos to your harddrive. I would suggest using it to get any videos on youtube that you are interested in that might get removed.

But the "Obama Girl" is A-OK when she splices together interviews from Bill O'Reilly? In which I saw Bill call her out on in his interview with her on inauguration day.

Please explain what the difference is.

As always, you guys never cease to amaze me.

OK..I'll go wash my nose now. LOL

But, this sounds like an excellent idea. Question though. Would you guys allow other sites like prison planet to inbed these videos like we can do with youtube here? Might be a stupid question as I'm not very server literate.

ATS hosting, while I am sure would be a good thing, is not taking things as far as they need to go. People need to be personally empowered, and, despite all it's plus points, ATS is still following the corporate central control model. Information age technology allows us to go beyond this brave new world and make our own space, and it allows us to network on our own terms without central oversight. Sure, there will be a downside to it, but the freedom of information technology will allow good people to express themselves and will make evil people have a higher profile, as they will not have corporations to hide behind.

This post is not a direct criticism of ATS, mearly me trying to point out a bigger dynamic here.
