You forgot to add the absentee ballots that the Dems destroyed because they had a fear they were from military members and that the military has a high percentage of Republicans.

If Bush was actually keeping us safe, 9/11 would have never happened while he was President.

Bush let 9/11 happen.

I think that Bush does deserve more respect towards him. Who seriously would have thought that we would have something like 9/11 happen? If you say we should have seen that coming, and Bush should have too, then you got a little hindsight bias going on. We did feel safe and so well protected in our country for so long, that we didn't think to tighten security even more. I also ask you what you would have done? When 9/11 happened, how do you think the family's of the victims in new york reacted? Would you have wanted Bush to sit around for a few months debating whether to go into the middle east and investigate, or would you have wanted immediate action? I feel that Bush did a pretty good job of handling a crisis right away. Although he did not carry out other plans during his 7 years, I do not think that justifys people Booing him. He was not going to make decisions in his term that pleased every citizen of the us, but now that he is gone, lets just move on to a brighter future. We learned what we want in a president, and we now (hopefully!) have that.

The one major difference between us conservatives and whatever brand of liberal you are, SG, is that at least us Conservatives are able to give your "messiah" credit where it's due. When he does something right, we'll applaud him on it.

Doesn't look like you're at least capable of that same level of humanity and decency when the tables were turned since you're such a bitter and hateful person. You're a disgusting individual!

Will Rogers would have never been able to coin his most famous quote had he met YOU, sir.

Aw c'mon... Limbaugh was on TV just yesterday saying he hopes Obama fails, and the only reason anyone wants him to succeed is because his father was black.
And nobody can deny that Rush is the face of Conservative America.

You're right in that Rush is abrasive. Personally, I don't listen to the man. I do like to listen to Mark Levine, but I've never cared for Limbaugh or Hannity.

I do believe, however, that Rush meant that he hopes Obama's liberal policies fail. I can't imagine he would wish failure on the entire U.S.

Rush hopes that Obama will fail because he does not want Obama's socialistic policies to succeed.

So do I.

Did you even listen to what he said, sos?

actually, CLINTON let 9/11 happen. Bush had only been in office 8 months when 9/11 happened. That wasn't enough time to clean up the mess that Clinton had left behind - the wreck of the intelligence community and military.

Realize that I have very strong conservative values. Such as small gov't and free markets.
That doesn't mean that I am a diehard Republican. The current crop of Republicans is a waste, imo.

Liberal policies make no sense to me. They require 'victims' and create dependency.

Can we say apologist???

How about the CIA memo dated AUG 6 2001???

entitled "Bin Ladin Determined to Strike in US,"

Seems the wreck of intelligence was the wreck in between BUSH's ears.

HERE a link or two...

www.truthout.org...

www.thesmokinggun.com...

Clinto may have F-ed up plenty - but BUSH was driving the ship...

ISNT it the GOP who constantly decry "TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!"?

NICE CONCEPT

YER logic is like blaming me for a car wreck while you were the one behind the wheel.

and yet he still kept us safe from attack one year longer than your hero Bush did. In fact, he had nothing but Republicans to answer to, you know the reason he was not allowed to get bin laden before he had us attacked, and he still kept us safe for 8 years. 8 still beats 7ish.

YES and BUSH and his focus on "dealing/attacking/liberating" IRAQ did not help the situation much either.
The briefing on AUG 6 was spent discussing IRAQ instead of focusing on the intell that was right there in front of them.

Do you remember the title?

Considering the intelligence reached its source, don't you consider that to be a successful delivery of intel?

Should the memo have come equipped with flashing lights?

Bush told the Taliban and AQ DO NOT *SNIP* WITH US.

He followed it up with actions that destroyed their world.

Apologize for terrorists all you want, he kept you safe.

Let's face it, Bush has oil industry, and stock market experiance:

en.wikipedia.org...

He returned to the oil industry, and began a series of small, independent oil exploration companies.[35] He created Arbusto Energy,[36] and later changed the name to Bush Exploration. In 1984, his company merged with the larger Spectrum 7, and Bush became chairman.[35] The company was hurt by a decline in oil prices, and as a result, it folded into Harken Energy.[35][37] Bush served on the board of directors for Harken.[35] Questions of possible insider trading involving Harken arose, but the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) investigation concluded that the information Bush had at the time of his stock sale was not sufficient to constitute insider trading.[35][38]

Condoleezza Rice has oil industry experience:
en.wikipedia.org...

Rice headed Chevron's committee on public policy until she resigned on January 15, 2001, to become National Security Advisor to President George W. Bush. Chevron, for unspecified reasons, honored Rice by naming an oil tanker Condoleezza Rice after her, but controversy led to its being renamed Altair Voyager.[21]

Dick Cheney has oil industry, and Iraq experience:
en.wikipedia.org...

Out of office during the Clinton presidency, Cheney was chairman and CEO of Halliburton Company from 1995 to 2000.
en.wikipedia.org...

WHO ARE THEY TRYING TO FOOL?

Operation Iraqi Liberation....
