Neurocysticerchosis

As I'm a neurologist living in amazon region, I've already seen ant treated hundreds of cases of this disease, most of them causing seizures. Surgical procedures for removing dead cysts are exceptions rather than the rule. Only ALIVE cysts which are located in brain areas that can cause the intracranial pressure to rise are elegible to neurosurgical approach. Otherwise, there are affective medication to kill the cysts.
