Would you recognize Jesus if he walked into the room right now? Just because two people have similar characteristics it would not necessarily cause someone to immediately identify them as the same person when so many generations have passed. Even movie stars; most youngsters today have no clue to what a famous star of yesterday looks like or that they were even once famous. Then there is the environmental factor. Two clones raised in different families in different parts of the world will probably not be easily recognizable as being of the same host. So I think that they could get away with cloning a well know person of the past.

The problem I have with the Jesus Cloning Project is that this means of cloning will not tempt fundamentalist Christians and would go against what I have read of the Anti Christ. The Anti Christ will come and deceive even those who are not supposed to be deceived. If fundamentalist aren't able to be deceived then there is no way this false Jesus or any clone could be the AC. Many fundamentalist are totally out of the will of God and will be perfect sheep for the interloper. The self righteous and haughty will be brought low.

In my way of thinking the Anti Christ will have to be able to fool all groups and religions. Not all people will be fooled but many within all groups will be.

Good point but if there is a point of reference to what a person looks like then it would be hard to fool most people. If say Fred Astaire was cloned, many of the youth would not know him but history has him recorded. Now as for Jesus being cloned or some person being passed off as Jesus, I got the impression from the article that the clone would be known as a clone. There was not secrecy involved. That would lead out fooling nearly all fundamentalist. In my way of thinking the Anti Christ will fool even a great deal of fundamentalist. So as far as cloning, it would have to be somebody that comes from way far back who's image is not historically known. Either that or just ANYBODY from any time whose image is not historically known.

I would not clone the Anti Christ but genetically engineer two evil people from history into one person and hope that both of their dark natures would lead him/her to be the Anti Christ who deceives the world. You could create a hybrid mix of Hitler and Pol Pot or any combination of such.

With all that said I don't think the Anti Christ is a clone but a person born into circumstances that allow him/her to understand the world and can speak numerous languages. The Anti Christ will detest certain areas of the world more than others even though they secretly live and have power in one of those areas. Adolf Hitler has a soul, at least according to religious beliefs. So I doubt the Anti Christ would have to be a clone.

I've heard this false prophet stuff, and I think i may know who it might be. I've heard some strange stuff and people believe that this prophet is princess Diana's son. the same princess that died in that "car crash" 10 years ago. was it prince william or charles i dont know

I'm not sure if I would put a whole lot of trust into that link. Then again, maybe you should do the same with my link. Perhaps the difference is due to the loss of energy when all of the cells in the body die. However, I will never believe that there is some magical soul that flies off into heaven after we die. The only heaven any of us will ever see is the one we make for ourselves.

Signs of self? Apart from our (arguably, in some cases) superior intellegence, there's not much to seperate us from other mammals. For example, have a good look at the behaviour of a dog or a cat. They have different personalities (animalalities?), they have moods, they dream & they display emotion. Animals aren't just mindless automatons, and it is just plain arrogant to assume that they have no souls. A typical example of the human superiority complex...
