I know it's a painful blow for some armchair conspiracy politicos out there that the inauguration of Barack Obama actually is taking place. But it is. So this thread officially puts the final nail in the coffin of the Bush 3rd term conspiracy. Please let's not bring that up again.

Don't worry though, there will be at least four years of Barack Obama related conspiracies to nourish yourselves on.

Yep- could be a Death-Chair Command Center!

Maybe he and Bush will go on a nice little hunting trip when this is all over.

I saw senior bush with a rather sinister looking walking stick as well!

walking stick, wheelchair and coats.

I smell conspiracy!

Don't be too quick to say it never will happen. It might be Obama's plan.

I do not actually think it will matter.

I think any president is a puppet no matter who.

I dunno... Bush has that weird, distant look in his eye like he's gonna do something...oh no, wait... that's just HIS look.

He looks really nervous though, or annoyed...I'm not sure?

Good luck Barack

Bush never had any real power or decision making anyway. He was just a puppet just like Obama is.

Bush and the Republicans want the Democrats in office.

In 2 and 4 years everyone will know how bad the democrats can be.

In 2 and 4 years the democrats will have to explain why thing are still bad if they don't fix things.

In 2 and 4 years the democrats will have to explain what they did wrong if there is another terrorist attack.

All the last recessions started with the democrats in power. and the republicans were voted in to fix things. and they did.

This time the democrats get to fix things and the people will grade them at the ballot box in 2 and 4 years.

What grade will they get.

I will bet they get low grades.

I am already hearing about the amnesty program for illegals in the US.
a lot of unemployed are too and they already don't like it.

Oh lord, I always think its funny how when a conspiracy fails to happen, the conspirator's change their story around in order to keep their little story going... Its kind of pathetic really.

"oh well, George Bush forgot to do it, so I ummm.... I bet uhh yeah, I bet Obama will do it.... and ummm.... If its not him it will be.... umm..."

Im able to admit when I was wrong about an idea or statement I made, Now its the Bush/martial law/takeover conspirators turn, but I wont hold my breath.....

That said,Today truly is a historic day. I am so proud to be an american today. President Obama has a hell of a job ahead of him. But to be honest, I think he is the right person for that job.

Obama is now the president of the United States. His inaguration has gone off without a hitch.

I look forward to the next 4-8 years of the new Obama/martial law conspiracies

They will have to modify it for Obama. 4 years from now, so many people will hate Obama after loving him now. Same processes over and over again. I wish people had political memory past 3 years, and would actually understand the power of the president /sigh
