Hey, yea, i had problems posting too. I found out, that it isn't the colour palate, but the one next to it on the right, the black and white palate. Just put the url in there, and it will show up, except if it is too big.

I was thinking more like music and sound... just an example..

Many people tend to use avatars to depict themselves...

This is me

Hey there,

Nothing is out of place, any art form representing anything about yourself is accepted.

Did you take those photos and edit them?

Why would describe those to represent your life?

They are watercolor paintings. No photography involved.

These are just two of many. It is not these two in particular that describe my life. They are just a minute part of it.
All of them, even the ones not yet painted will be a lifes work, therapy and love.

don't know if it explains my life - but explains what I love about life

not an original or unusual choice - but it gets to me every time

these explain better my position in life

perpetual dream state

Well, what a fascinating thread! Thanks, OP.

I was delighted to see another member had chosen a Rodney Matthews work to share, and I can quite understand the sentiment! Just because I also love it, here it is again: (click to view full image)

EDIT to provide link to full image, cos it's not appearing when the embedded one is clicked:

Both of these works were commissioned from Rodney by the English rock band Magnum, and if I was to select one single piece of (non religious) music that I identify with more than most, it would have to be this:

As you can probably tell from the first picture I posted - called "On A Storyteller's Night" - I am the sort of guy who if I was totally free to spend my life in any way I wanted, would probably be found most nights (indeed most of the day as well!) in the back room of a somewhat faded country inn, listening to the stories being told and allowing my mind to roam wild... But of course, there's more to life than LISTENING about experiences - you need to have a few yourself!....

As you've possibly guessed, I'm a bit of a Tolkien nut, and this is artist John Howe's vision of one of the encounters Frodo had with those nasty Nazgul.

Back IRL, though, there is one picture that truly says the most about who I think I am. Here, without comment, it is:

When you mean Issa, you are talking about Jesus? Or yourself?
