Oh don't get me started on Salvador Dali - Totally insane and yet so breathtakingly acurate in his imagery. I could never pick just one and to add all would be a bit much so I say pick any Dali and I'll agree

Here's a closeup of the woman if you're interested:

img299.imageshack.us...
It kind of gives you a more personal feel about her.

The small picture gives you an idea of whats goin' on but the woman itself I worked on for several hours of tiny brush strokes, trying to paint a perfect goddess.

Whenever I make a picture I usually paint one or 2 things with fine detail I wish I could show, thinking of adding little closeup boxes on top of my paintings.

Thanks - Do you mind if I save the close up on my computer. I'd like to be able to go back to view it now and then without having to log into ATS

One of my true favorites by Dali is The Ship,

Another visual picture that reminds me of a Dali painting, was the cover of Johnny Depp's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas poster.

Okay - I had to resize the image. It is a self portrait that I did of myself. This is my art and my life. It's entitled "Gods, angels and self-delusion.

That is exactly what i thought. To me, i just could not get into it.

It was funny, because i remember when it came out, it was a huge hit, everyone i knew was talking about how funny it was. I went to go see it in theatre, ans it was very disappointing to me.

Maybe because i like inspirational films, and that was far from it.

It's actually from a series of paintings I exhibited . The series was called "gods , angels and self-delusion. It's about the phases of love. Phase one he is a God and you pretend to be flawless, Phase two - you start realizing his is human and he notices you don't normally wake up with make up on, and phase three you wonder who this damn demon is you are with and how you landed up in hell.

This particular one is of me morphed into a statue of Medusa. The writing is from a love letter from an ex. I leave the rest of the analysis to everybody here.

Exactly....gotta be funny..
Napoleon....just unfunny for the sake of being unfunny.

I like so many films from so many genres.... Foreign films, comedy, horror, drama, love stories.....whatever.

It's not that i didn't get napoleon dynamite.....it's just that it was crap, IMO of course.

I would have to go with the fractals. Just a very interesting theory about how the universe is really connected. Not sure where i am in this one and that pretty much true about how i feel about myself, between somewhere and somewhere without a clue but enjoying it nonetheless.

Oh and my all time favorite video is 'groove is in the heart' and it really is a part of me. Whenever i have a great day this song will pop up in some form or another on the radio and it is just like the universe saying 'hiya!'
