If it was not a warning document, as Rice insisted, then as Timothy Roemer put it, Why wouldn't it be made public then?
Snap. No one knows what it says, But what Rice says it does.

What, specifically, would you do if you were President and were briefed by intelligence that there could possibly be a terrorist attack somewhere (anywhere) in our country in the coming months or years?

Just curious.

Actually, though NewsMax has only a tenuous connection with the truth, on this occasion, they're reporting correctly.

What you fail to realise is that what you've posted supports the contention that OBL was a US security asset. Therefore, of course Clinton wouldn't have him arrested.

And to this day, the FBI don't have him on their "most wanted" list. Shortly before Sept 11, a CIA station chief even visited him in hospital, according to French intelligence.

Unfortunately, your partisan attitude blinds you to the real nature of your government.

And as for Bush "inheriting" 9/11... this kind of distortion is so common, it's a wonder people react to it any more. Wake up, sleepyheads. Your media lies to you.

Well, since Condi and the others refuse to release it we only have speculation, and people pissed at Bush who read it. The ones mad at Bush say it gave details, like names and so forth. So, if I had the names, day, airlines, like what may have been in the memo, I would have stopped it.

Was going to let this slide, but now you have referenced that same Left wing article again, and again and are not telling the whole story.

"The 9/11 Commission has asked that the August 6th memo be declassified so everyone can see what is in it. The Bush administration is, of course, dragging their feet. If it was not a warning document, as Rice insisted, then as Timothy Roemer put it, Why wouldn't it be made public then?

Update: The New York Times is reporting that the White House has agreed to release the August 6th Memo. When they will do so is anyone's guess..."

So they did agree to release the memo.
