Shifting to Iran, Hayden said that country steadily is producing low-enriched uranium and soon will have enough to create highly enriched uranium — the fuel for a nuclear warhead. The CIA does not have clear intelligence saying that a decision has been made, but the agency is aware of the amount of uranium Iran has produced so far.

Agency officials presume that Iran is seriously considering using its uranium stocks to make nuclear weapons because of its willingness to endure the economic pain of penalties for refusing to agree to international safeguards.

"I'm amazed Iran is willing to run the costs they are running if they are not trying to keep the option open for a nuclear weapon," Hayden said.

CIA chief: No proof of Iranian A-bomb

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) says there is no evidence that proves Tehran is edging towards developing nuclear weapons.

Departing CIA Director Michael Hayden said Thursday that the Islamic Republic's production of low-enriched uranium does not necessarily substantiate an Iranian objective to build atomic weaponry.

He said that even if the country does gain the capability to create highly enriched uranium, still there is no “clear proof” that Iran will use the material to fuel a nuclear warhead.

So who is it you are meant to believe?
I understand that both sides will always try and side with their own country and portray the other as the enemy, but as we know, US intelligence isn't always accurate, and Iran has its own agenda.

so in this big global conspiracy, which is the least bias reporting agency that has nohing to gain or lose from giving the public the truth?

Plain and simple. Anchors are out for the betterment of themselves and their careers. The only real news, is the truth, which we all know is twisted, spun, and filtered.
