I think we may have a problem here.

I meant no disrespect to the guy, I said I was wasn't being personal but then you, the super mod person show up out of nowhere, tell me I need to hold my tongue, and have respect. So I don't know what to think except point made.

You, who have been here an unbelievably long 3 weeks decided to post in a nasty fashion in a thread that was intended to congratulate one of our hard working volunteers on a promotion.

A member of staff politely suggested that there was no reason for your behavior and you responded in a condescending hostile manner, yet again for no reason.

That's not going to fly.

Using "super" as an adjective, yes. However, Super Moderator is in fact a title recently bestowed upon UK Wizard.

I hate to demonstrate my ignorance here, but what besides title is the difference between a Mod and a SuperMod? Do they have more leeway with the ban stick? Or is it primarily a title change that rewards longer service?

I have been wondering that for a while, and this is as good an opportunity to ask as any.

And, last but not least, congratulations UK Wizard! Whatever the details of your new position it is clearly an honor and I am sure it is one well deserved.

A Super Mod has edit powers in all forums as opposed to us regular dummies...erm, Mods who are assigned forums. There are also a few other perks that are rather inconsequential (or are they... )...

That and the Supers can call for drinks at all hours of the night; The Bandit called at 3am one morning and I was worried I wouldn't make it to Aruba from California in time to avoid the mandatory crop circle punishment...(I didn't make it... )
