Maybe Nationalizion is the goal here. I think that is what is in play. Who wants the banks to be nationalized?

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s refusal to clarify his intentions regarding either bank “is allowing for the absolute decimation of the values of Bank of America and Citigroup on a daily basis,” said William Smith of Smith Asset Management in New York. “All he has to do is come out and say there is no nationalization.”

The only reason they want nationalizion of the banks, is so they can continue with the old ways of doing things. The system of forced debt will not stand any longer, it can`t. The old way has to die before we can go on and make things better. Anyone who wants to keep the old way of banking wants nothing more then a slave society to live in. We have worked ourselves into this by wanting more and more from life, and we wonder why we have to work till we drop to pay for all of it. Imagine if you were to have every dime back that you paid in interest all your lives, or even all the tax money you paid in all these years. How many thousands of dollars would that come to? And now we wonder why we are near broke.
