2) Where are the foundations fastened?

3) Who laid the cornerstone?

4) Who laid the measures of the foundation and stretched the line?

Are you asking stone masons or freemasons? These don't appear to have any particular freemasonic bent to them - in other words, you'll just get individual responses that will vary as much as the personal views of the members.

I know we have some old guys in the lodge, but I don't think any of them are old enough to be there when the earth was formed!
Also, as the earth is a spherical shape floating in space, there is no foundation per say.

Freemasons don't neccesarilly work with mud(concrete).

But they are definetly Masons, in whatever sense they believe.

A mason is someone who works with stone brick or concrete.

A Freemason is somebody who is part of the organization of Freemasonry.

Oh I forgot to add, I do believe in eternal life. But I would again point out that the responses to these are going to reflect the masons' personal beliefs as none of this has anything to do with freemasonry. Which is great, if thats what you were looking for.

As others have said, different members of the craft will have different answers according to their personal beliefs. From your questions, you seem to think that Freemasonry is some sort of organization that has been in place since the beginning of time which is not true. I will do my best to answer your questions though. You can U2U me if you want

1) Where were you when the foundations of the earth were laid?
- i assume you mean creation? Masonry didnt exist then

2) Where are the foundations fastened?

3) Who laid the cornerstone?
God
4) Who laid the measures of the foundation and stretched the line?
I would say Medieval Operative Guilds

5) Do you believe in eternal life?
