5.5 Meter Croc menaces Ranger

A KAKADU Park ranger and his girlfriend, a parks surveillance officer, were shaken by a huge crocodile which attacked their dinghy as it drifted in the Top End wetlands.

It makes you wonder when so many Predators have been menacing People in our waters later, with a guy taken about 15Km's North of where I live last month as well as a few attacks on the Eastern Seaboard by Great White sharks.

That's just a baby one!

Could be a couple of theories.

1) If it was a female, maybe they were in her nesting ground
2) If it was a male, maybe they were in it's mating territory
3) Humans taste like fatty deer and it was hungry.
4) Yellowstone and our fragile earth have something to do with behavior patterns.
5) Crocodiles are land and water dwellers, we dwell all over it's land, maybe it's saying "you have my land, get the hell out of my water!"

Still pretty big mate, 6.78 m is the largest reported size but not verified for a salty.
