another airline flight down. In the river.

The live video is showing lots of boats surrounding the plane. You can find live video on both cnn.com and my local station www.kgw.com

I pray that people are surviving this crash and that we will not have a devastating crash.

More news as it is available on the web.

It doesn't seem to be sinking at all or is that just me?

I thought planes sank once they hit water...

Wow. Not the kind of weather you want to be wading in the Hudson. Apparently it went down on takeoff.

They are saying that a bird possibly struck the plane as well. This is amazing. Ive never seen video like this before.

I am praying that many people survive this. And no, this is definitely NOT the weather you want when going in the water.

Yes I been watching this on TV, my husband said that it was a flock of geese trained by Alqaida that struck the airplane in the air.

Occurs he is just joking.

The plane was on the way to Charlotte.

146 passengers, 5 crew. 21,000 plus gallons of fuel.

There are most definitely survivors, and at the moment emergency responders are using ferries to get people out of the water.

A request just went over the FDNY frequency for blankets to warm up approx. 30 survivors waiting on a pier.

Hopefully there will be many more.

This is horrible. Im watcing it on TV now

Can someone explain why it is floating and not sinking? Is it due to the depth of the river?
