Bush doesn't care eh? I suppose the dumping of Rumsfeld and the "surge" strategy for Iraq that just so happened to come immediately after the 2006 elections was coincidence.

He cares, but only when it becomes difficult for him to continue screwing over everybody.

People who say they don't care what people think of them are always the ones that do.

This guy has failed at everything he has ever attempted. He knows that.
That is why he has an ego a mile wide. Why he disdains anyone that second guesses him.
That is why he swaggered about, puffing out his chest, declaring himself "The Decider" and gave people belittling nicknames.

Even though I believe he was put into office because he was a dullard by TPTB who really ran the show, he really wants to think of himself as a great man.
And underneath his arrogant smirk is his secret pain... he knows he is below average at best.

Everyone has Bush fatigue.He is coming to live in Dallas.I have lived through two terms as Governor and two terms as President and now he is coming back to my Home Town AAAAHHH!!!

This is coming from a place of disregard, arrogance and ignorance -
and from an unexamined life.

No where in this oath do I see or read that he has to win an opinion poll or popularity contest. He did the job to the best of his ability. And don't come back with all of this about the constitution. Congress never saw it fit to impeach and if there was a crime committed by Bush it was their duty to impeach. Caring about Americans and caring about how they think of you is two different stories.

So he just admitted that he doesn't care about the people who made him president...

I didn't vote for the d**khead, but everyone who did just got insulted by him. If it wasn't for "the people" he wouldn't be president, and he just said "he dont give a darn" about them...

GWB should be tarred and feathered. He should kiss the peoples feet for giving him the ability to be president. "The people" gave him a gift, and he just s**t on it.

You're a nutjob. He doesn't care about public hysteria any more than any other sane person. Before you even start....9/11 wasn't an inside job, iraq shipped it's weapons to syria, wilson's wife wasn't covert (and if outted was done so by him), iraq was trying to buy yellowcake....and 20 or so metric TONS of radioactive matls were found and removed from iraq, and alqaeda WAS in iraq before the invasion, and not one US citizen was spied on....if you say otherwise PROVE IT, and a president is supposed to have the tenacity to stick to the plan and not go off the rails with public opinion. He didn't change from day one...you did.

This being a conspiracy forum and all, I would say that it doesn't matter what his approval rating is when he leaves, coz you are the lot he had planned to put in the boxcars in coming years, only supporters of him and his ideals will be allowed to drive the trains and run the camps.

that may be why he doesn't care about his approval rating, coz in his mind it will eventually be 100% approval

I'm pretty sure the boxcars, and camps, are for people infected by viruses. In the case of a virus pandemic, like when or if the bird flu gets airborne, people will have to be quarantined, and or moved from one place to another without letting them escape because it could infect more people.

FEMA is, and was, set up to be ready for such scenarios.

Scientists all over the world know that it is inevitable that new viruses will show up, it's only a matter of time.

Bush should care about "the people" who made him president. They out number him millions to 1, he should be afraid actually.

If you hire someone and they screw up, they get fired. WE THE PEOPLE hired him, not the other way around.
