Tiz true that a few of us are perhaps slightly out of shape.
And the holiday season didn't help.
But is there really a need to make fun of us?
4X, really?
Surely that's a a little OTT.
Not very nice of you to mock us so now is it?
*now off to purchase a couple of these babies and combine into a muumuu*

Good one bodrul.
I'm gonna order the 4X Large and use it as a tent when I go camping.

I think it is very nice of ATS to recognize that there are extreme size differences in some people just like there are extreme points of view in the
forums.
True statistic.
The average oilfield worker is 72 1/2 inches tall and weighs 223 pounds.
I know a gentleman who is 6'7" tall, weighs 400+ pounds and isn't fat. He runs a drilling rig and is very intelligent. I would guess he wears about
a 4x.
I'm 6'1" and weigh 280. I've got some belly but I have to wear a 3x because 2x is tight across my back and around my arms.
We're not all fat.
Some people are actually pretty big. Ever watch football?
I walked 500 miles on the Appalachian trail in the spring of 06 just for the fun of it. Even after losing 40 pounds a 2x doesn't fit across my
shoulders so I wear the 3x.
It's hard for big people to find decent clothes.
Talk about feeling left out. I can walk into just about any upscale department/clothing store and find that the nicer lines and better fashions rarely
come above a 1xL. Then I get to stand there feeling like an outsider while short skinny squinky people look at me as if I were an abberation that had
no place in their average size world.
So, thanks for the x sizes ATS.
Having said all that, yeah many people in a 3 or 4 x are like the guy with the giant hamburger.

This thread is very mean and hurtful. I'm 5'10" and weigh 420...okay 430, but I'm a nice person. I think a 4X would be tight on me. My son
lucked out and didn't blimp to my size (yet at least). He's 6'3" and weighs around 280. We call him skinny. That boy needs to eat more. He
could get away with a 2x but a 3x is more comfortable.
Let me ask you this: What's the deal with a small? Who the hell can fit in one of them? Okay...a child. But no adult can fit in one of them. Well
maybe a cute little petite muchachita. There is no man that could wear a small. Well....maybe a midget. Perhaps a gentleman of an Asian
persuasion.
Personally, I think someone should pay me to advertise for them. Not the other way around. It's all about getting paid. Pay me and I'll wear one
of them shirts.

You are going to hell for putting that up right after that post. I know I shouldn't be laughing but I can't help it. I got a belly I
don't have to go to the x sizes but that guy was right some sizes just fit to small across the shoulders or the arms aren't long enough. save
me a seat SDog

I don't really think it's a fat joke. I think it's great that they actually have bigger sizes. Taller people typically have broader shoulders,
they're not fat, but they need bigger shirts. Personally, I wear a large to an XL, but the XL situation only really ever applies if the store is only
carrying those brands that sell a large that's actually a medium...what's up with that?
