Is Gaza a testing ground for new weapons and tactics before Israel attacks Iran?

Topic started on 13-1-2009 @ 02:07 PM by captiva

I have been watching the "Live cam" from Gaza and its made me aware that Israel may have been using some "new to me" weapons in the WP category and the "Dime" explosives.

I also noted that the US are sending a huge haul of weapons to Israel.

If we take the comments made by Powel about Obama having to deal with a crisis this month, plus the above, and the fact that a war usually follows a recession, I think that Gaza was there at the right time for the Israelis to compete in live war events, hone their tactics and try out some new, upgraded weapons.

Is this why the Iranian aid ship was stopped?

I hope Im wrong, but Ive always believed that gaza was part of a "bigger picture" plan.

Yes it definitely is a testing ground for the IDF forces.

Till now they have used uranium depleted ammo, phosphorus shells, cluster bombs and DIME weapons.

Hamas only has Aks with coupla home made fireworks.

Plestinians have stones to fire at tanks.

I guess israel can do as it pleases and noone can stop it.
