U.S. Evacuating 150 From Gaza

Looks like Operation Cast Lead is not ending anytime soon... How many have to die? - All civilians should be evacuated! WASHINGTON (JTA) -- The State Department is preparing to evacuate 150 Americans and their non-American family members from the Gaza Strip. "The department, the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv and the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem are taking the necessary steps to help them depart as soon as arrangements can be made for their safe travel," said State Department spokesman Gordon Duguid on Monday, according to news reports. jta.org... - Just thinking, are they evacuated because threat from Israeli acts, or because growing hate against all US citizens - thats why they evacuate also family members. Not good news... But we are use to that.

Why are they just now leaving? This thing has been going on for well over a week. The warning signs of war were there before this past week as well. Staying until now - when our tax money is being used to evacuate - is damned stupid.

I wonder what the response would be if they discovered American citizens had been killed by the IDF too? I'll bet you wouldn't hear about that on the news, because that would make more Americans angry at their government supporting this atrocity. I also have to ask why has it taken so long? Surely this should have been done when this all started, as soon as America knew what Israel was planning for Gaza.

Let's see- The UN has tried to evacuate zero Palestinians from harms way. Jordan has not tried to evacuate Palestinians from harms way. Egypt says they won't open the border so Palestinians can escape from harms way. No other country has offered to evacuate Palestinians from harms way. Shows that either the world don't care what happens to the Palestinians in Gaza or the world is too busy criticizing Israel while ignoring their own ability to save some lives.
