I’ve gotten so caught up in the politics of the day (Obama’s proposed policies, the political economy, and the inefficiencies and/or lies of the
government in general) that I truly was getting depressed with the whole outlook for America. I needed grounding, so I turned to Ronald Reagan for
inspiration. It was good for me to do this because, he reminded me of what America stands for.
I encourage all Americans to watch this video, because no one can say it like President Reagan. He makes some very good points that are very
applicable in today’s circumstances and will be in the future as long as we don’t forget who we are. Reagan was certainly a wise man. I know there
are those of you who won’t be bothered to spend 27 minutes of your life watching this video. To you, I say that you then haven’t earned the right
to participate in this thread. This is my thread and I choose to not acknowledge anyone speaking out of ignorance. That said, those who do watch it, I
welcome intelligent discussion and debate.
