I think it'll be a search for new staff members, from what I've decoded so far. It speaks about 'captians of enlightenment'.

Do you really think it's a search for Staff ? I'm wondering if it's not just a contest that will give four members a little more access to things, but not necessarily make them "staff" ?

Also possible, but the captains seems a bit weird then. And I haven't heard from DeusEx or Thrain yet, but I think they live in the US and are probably at work/school.

Captains? How many are there? How where they picked? It dont even start till next month. Are these captains self-appointed?

It's a puzzle that will make all members insane by mid-May or so. IMO, there is no true perpous behind the puzzles.

..im sooo lost... i dont see anything in the source...no 4 pictures of buildings, pc, etc.... all i see is the ring...the rules... 1+1+1+1=1, and doom 3 backwards....any help?

stop getting your panties in bunch you people, if you read the link it says the contest starts 5/2004. If you still don't have additional info on 5/2004, then say all you want about secrecy, conspiracy, whatever...until then just watch everyone else run around and solve codes that can't be seen I think SO is having fun sending people on goose chases...just my 1/2 of cent
