Donating Points

I think that members should be able to donate points to other members.What does everyone else think

But I don't need any points.

I have been on for only a day but i want points and people can give points for holidays.

I agree with Banshee , this board is about more than points.
I like the general idea of ATS points and it's a neat novelty idea, but not necessary.

We should all be here to share, learn and grow together.

Mr.President points are earned,

post well and research and you shall get your points,

Then you can go in to the ATS store found in the member center and you can exchange them for things like background color ect...

oh yeah, one more thing... please please please use the search function at the top of the page before posting a new topic.

Just one of my pet peeves ! yeah I know, I'm guilty of posting a dup myself, but the search function isn't perfect.

Yeah Mr.President, don't be a point whore. It harms the quality of the board. Just stay here for a while and you'll get your points. Don't stress we were all Noobs at one time.

This july will be my first complete year here at ATS, and I'd just like to register a few facts.

I've had a great time.
I've (for the most part) had NO problem with any of the frequent users of ATS.
They (I hope) have not had any serious problems with me.
I've had a great time (bears repeating)

All this accomplished WITHOUT donating points. Not that it's a bad Idea, but what purpose would it serve? Honestly?

Just think about that, and then respond.

I don't think so,... any way, I've noticed that you don't like dup posts, I've seen some of your replies as to why people are starting other threads and such... I always just try to remind them nicely to search for the topic first.

SpittinC - are you trying to rack up points ? with some of your posts, it comes accross that way.. I noticed it in the "hunt" threads...
