Sorry if already posted, but San Bernardino just got rocked. Anyone have the seismic information? I have heard preliminary reports of 4.5-5.0. I'm just wondering if anyone else felt this and has the information. Epicenter about 8 miles under San Berdoo.

I live on the Westside of LA and felt it all the way here, so I am wondering exactly how large this was.
Thanks...

Move to boring old New Mexico?

Not much going on here. If it even drizzles the reporters are out saying,

"Its really coming down here now Bob! It could end up being as much as half an inch!"

Still cant find any info on the size but it sure must have been a decent one if you felt it out in west la and calabasas. Im from Thousand Oaks (near calabasas) and its a trek to san bernardino from there!

Im surprised it is taking them this long to post the richter scale reading.... when did it hit?

Hit about an hour ago now, I'd say around 7:45, and originally was listed at 5.0 but apparently has been downgraded to a high 4 (4.7 or 4.9)...

I live in Santa Monica and I just thought my roommate came home and slammed the door! lol Not much for me, but apparently they got scared in San Berdoo.

totally. i'm on the 3rd floor of a hotel, so maybe that helps amplify the quake?
my colleague in another room on the same floor felt it as well. at first she said she thought she was feeling "dizzy", then she definitely felt the constant movement.
yes we are quite a ways from the epicenter.

I am in Long Beach, and I heard the house creak and thought I felt a small shake... then I waited.. and nothing else happened. And I thought to myself, "That wasn't an earthquake, you are just reading ATS too much."

I am in Fullerton, CA (near Anaheim) and I felt it pretty good. I was sitting outside with my boyfriend and I felt it drop then shake back and forth. I was convinced I was going crazy because my boyfriend didn't feel a thing and my reaction was pretty strong, I litterally jumped out of my seat. Turns out I wasn't crazy and that makes me feel good. I have lived in California for 24 years and this is the second earthquake I have ever felt, and the other one was earlier this year.
