What happens next is that Pakistan will make agreement with Iran --- Who have nuclear technology then?
Even though Pakistan is not a signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Iran is.
Article II of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty states:
Article II: Each non-NWS party undertakes not to receive, from any source, nuclear weapons, or other nuclear explosive devices; not to manufacture or
acquire such weapons or devices; and not to receive any assistance in their manufacture.
Pakistan transferring nuclear devices or technology to Iran would be all the justification the West would need to isolate Iran and Pakistan. Russia
and China would have no legal authority to challenge any sanctions or other penalties that would come on Iran and Pakistan.
Any sanctions or other penalties would be used as a tool by India, the United States, and Israel to weaken their enemies.
Sanctions could possibly plunge Pakistan in to a civil war or inspire a coup d'etat. If that were to happen you'd begin hearing the stories of
needing to invade Pakistan to safeguard their nuclear weapons arsenal from terrorists.
All it would take after that point would be some good propaganda and fraudalent intelligence reports stating that Taliban or Al Qaeda operatives
"stole" a nuclear weapon from Pakistan and transported it to Iran before that war began too.
Considering all of that, I don't believe Pakistan will give nuclear technology to Iran, at least not until they are under attack from India. Any deal
between Iran and Pakistan would be suicidal for both.
