Red Cross: Israel delayed access to Gaza wounded
www.iht.com
The Geneva-based International Committee of the Red Cross said the Israeli army refused rescuers permission to reach the site in the Zeitoun
neighborhood for four days. Ambulances could not get to the neighborhood because the Israeli army had erected large earthen barriers that blocked
access. (visit the link for the full news article)

This is just too horrible to read. I cannot believe the IDF did this. I watched something about this on CNN this afternoon in which a Red Cross
employee said they had been in touch with the IDF, which thus was fully aware of them coming to the scene.
Even in World War II medics were allowed to get in and help the wounded.

Now before all the pro-israelis come steaming in and claim `pallywood` - this is the RED CROSS not RED CRCESENT
The RED CROSS have allways helped those in need , on all sides of a conflict - are world respected
they are not the RED CRESCENT and whilst affiliated do seem to operate to far more neutral and higher standards (all IMO) than the RED CRESCENT
so when the Red Cross - those are the same people the Nazi`s let visit the jews in concentration camps are denied access then there is a serious
problem with Israel.
