Israel has caused such a mess! If even UN doesnt work in there, who does... This is truly breaking news! Do we start to evacuate Gaza with helicopters from rooftops next?

Just crazy - there is no other solution that truce - now!

I am reminded by that speech by george bush senior, about how no country will be able to stand upto to new global situation.

I suppose that means everyone except uk/usa/israel cannot do anything, while they # on everyone they can.

I can feel the desperation in your words, but the UN isn't going to solve anything. How long has this off and on conflict been happening? How long has the UN had an opportunity to send in UN soldiers to stop the madness from both sides and protect both sides? The bias UN can talk all it wants but until they provide safety for both sides, they can forget about peace in the region. They just can't go in their and tell Israel to stop and allow its enemies to continue arming themselves for a future fight.

Maybe UN cant stop wars or killings, but most important job is to observe the truth, aid civilians, and work as 3rd party for negotiations.

Israel and USA is making their own international laws - New World Order is in the house!

Forcing to truth is US doctrine, not widely supported way to handle violent situations in eyes of the world - and experienced peace keepers.
