Offer Your Carbon Footprint Unto God! is what this Church is Preaching!

A church in Superior, WI has told all their members to record the number of miles they drive, write it on a piece of paper, and put it in the offering plate when it's passed around. These numbers are counted and a chart is created showing how much CO2 the church is saving.

So now they are indoctrinating global warming/carbon footprints to church-goers, mixing it into one's faith - where it has no place, IMO.

thoughts? if you attend church, would you still go to the church even if they started spouting Go Green! Reduce Your Carbon Footprint! Do Your Part in Global Warming! All Hail Al Gore!?
