Good post, I think you hit the nail on the head numerous times.
I agree, there never will be a level playing field, but things have got to get better than this. The whole tune in, turn on, and drop out thing sure
went bad. The wrong people wound up taking over the country. Becoming politically aware, and challenging others to do the same is something we all
need to do more and do better. The reality is people need to get involved politically, or things will just get worse.
Looking at the ways we have been controlled would be a good place to start. The whole drug craze really played well into the hands of of the powers
that be. This is something that we have all been waking up to over the last couple of decades. Drug wars have created the largest prison population
on the planet, taken away more rights than any other tactic in our nations history, and created massive crime syndicates to keep the people scared and
at home, afraid to go out. The answer is clear, stop doing drugs. If you are going to drink, only drink at home. Forget that overpriced margarita
or glass of wine when out for dinner. If you are going to party at a friends house, make travel arrangements.
The family court system has also done a great job of breaking up families and taking away peoples rights. By tilting the system heavily in favor of
women, or people with the most money, our family courts have literally encouraged divorce. Hey, the ole man ain't letting you have your way all the
time? You want to start having sex with young guys? Come see us, well give you everything he owns, control of the kids, and a fat chunk of his
paycheck for at least the next decade. We might even find a few excuses to haul his butt off to jail a few times. The answer is clear here, start
fighting for custody of the kids. Read up on the divorce and custody laws, and demand that the judge provide legal actions for his decision. Find
out what your rights are, join a Dad's rights group. Fathers have an extremely important role in raising their children, and need to start taking
back their roles. Get vocal about defending your rights. Learn the names and addresses of your local representative and start writing letters. You
would be very surprised at how effective a letter writing campaign can be.
Excessive immigration and especially illegal immigration has also taken a big chunk out of our rights. This is another area where U.S. citizens need
to start getting organized. Once again, find a group and start getting vocal.
I know a lot of people who supported Reagan, and why so many have abandoned the democrats, and I am about there myself, BUT, the free market system
does not work. We need a third party that is willing to start looking out for the middle class. Medicaid is one huge rip off that supports illegal
immigration. Welfare should only be for a strict short time period, like unemployment. Welfare created the cess pools of crime in our cities.
Income taxes should only go back to the people who pay them, not to support IC's by being the world's police. If the IC's want protection of their
overseas operations, then they need to pay for themselves, not the people of the U.S.. Working people should only be paying about 5% of their wages
and salaries to the federal government, as the fed does very little for the overall population these days.
What do we do in the mean time? It is time to start thinking about an underground economy. I don't know who the pols think are going to pay back
those huge debts that the fed has created, but I feel no obligation whatsoever.
