If anyone remembers, in the 80's there was a SciFi book called Oracle, in which the protagonist spent a certain amount of time "jacked in" to the
net each day working as a history specialist for a data service called Oracle. This company provided the service of answering questions from unnamed
entities, drawing upon their pool of specialists (think EXTREMELY large) online for the answers.
The Knowledge Generation Bureau is wanting to be that, and if you remember, the man said"You'll do". They are and have been recruiting experts
willing to be at their disposal during preset time frames to answer questions. They are in Beta now, but the plan is to make it a for pay service at
"reasonable rates".

So I took their test on the website and ended up getting a job application to be a "special agent" so I'm waiting to see where that goes but I did
find out that they are located at 655 madison ave in NYC by looking at their terms of service which is real if you look at the real estate owner
website:
ny.therealdeal.com...
So as of now I think its all legit, but I'll keep everyone updated as I see where this job goes...

Hi -
guest here.
I thought y'all might like to know
that I Googled "knowledge generation bureau" and landed (first choice on search) at this site.
Do you feel adopted?
Good to see you're out there.

The guy asking the questions was James Cromwell. The actor. So obviously its a TV show or movie or something.

America was taught to "fear the Russians" that is apparently still imbedded in some and that is where the whole WTF attitude is coming from

In response to one of the anonymous posters: This is the more popular meaning for "KGB"
In response to ANT4u: I'm not so much "fearing the Russians", but I do think it's a bit odd to get a web page in 1993 for a company that wasn't
going to start until 2007. I also think that it's a little strange that the company is so secretive about itself and that doing a google search pulls
up a lot of virus crap for some people.
In response to the thread in general: This thread seems to have attracted a good deal of anonymous posts. I think it's cool, but it makes me laugh a
little considering the subject matter.
