I'm not going to lie, I was a little intimidated by this site before I joined up. I've only ever been on the edge here, browsing a few threads and
poking around, not really giving a thought to joining up and getting involved because I felt I'd be outclassed and laughed at for being so naive.
Then I got to thinking what the hell am I doing? I'm not going to better myself unless I dive in and join the debate.
I'm really interested in the current political climate we're facing both here and across the pond, what with Obama coming into office this month
(who I really don't like the look of, he smiles like a shark and has this creepy vibe), the economic problems in Europe and my own country that put
an uncertain spin on our future and nobody actually getting the facts delivered straight, what I'm getting at the moment contains lots of words like
'allegedly' and 'suspected' and 'maybe' which doesn't give me a lot of faith in the media or the government if even they don't really know
what's going on.
Most of all though, I came here for a proper education. Raw, meaty facts and the prospect of this mystical, magical and elusive thing called truth.
Come on guys, help me get schooled good and proper!

Welcome aboard, Mate
Never think of yourself as being out classed,as you say.
Think of more in the manner of being out-thought. That being said, be nice, even to the ridiculous and be aware of the sublime, for it is from those
two entities from which you may mine the most information from.
See Ya in chat, LC
