Oh yes the irony, application of their puritan ideals in the real world, usually backfire, sometimes literally... ie
Virginity pledges lead to anal sex, says study. Just think without church pushed
abstinence programs, porn would have less positions to segway to and from. 
Back to the OP for a moment, i think another way of looking at Flynt in this stunt, is that he's a troll of sorts... not your average pointless
sophomoric myopic troll we'd all like to push off a cliff... just the opposite, someone who provides a great example in
The Virtues of Trolling.

would blend right in, and believe it or not most of you would learn to like him. This guy is fearless, there is no subject under the sun he won't
speak his mind about. Read a few of Flynt's thoughts on most of the taboo issues we attempt to address here and
you'll see what i mean... and if you aren't impressed with his progressive views and activism for free-speech then you can't deny that he is a
brilliant business man.
If you assume the porn biz is a cake walk, consider the amount of competition and repetition.

I shant be bringing any such minor errors to light from this point further as it clearly cheeses people off.
As for my feelings for Larry Flint . . . he's a businessman filling a demand with supply. But, when push comes to shove, people are spending their
money on the staples and pushing aside the extras which clearly includes the materials supplied by the porn industry which is why they're feeling the
pinch.
I don't think we should entertain a bailout of this or any other industry for that matter as it simply skews the system and tilts it further toward
government control.
So, I apologize for what you consider a disrespectful and classless way of brining a correction to light and assure it won't happen again.

As i was saying... if we were all fully honest with our selves and one another... "Corner Stone" is really no stretch of the imagination. Those of
you who have been married for 10+ years most likely have see a metamorphosis take place right before you eyes... and for those of you who have not
been married for so long or not married yet, put yourself in your father's shoes for a moment. Imagine what it was like for him to have a front row
seat to the gradual transformation from being with a young optimistic hottie to a older pessimistic hag.
The porn industry has keep many of these marriages running long after they were long dead in the bed. So for those who choose to only see the dark
side of porn you are neglecting to see all the good. Remind yourself of this every holiday when the family gets together.
This fact may be too much to accept for some of you...
all i can say is "Welcome to ATS (deny ignorance)".
For those who can relate you maybe find another thread of mind of interest... maybe even feel compelled to breath some new into it... would be most

I think it is sick. People are loosing their jobs and homes, but lets help out the porn stars. That seems backwards to me. The ones that do things the
rite way, always seem to loose. I bet a lot of America would be outraged if any money went there, and would love to see it on the news if it happened
just for that reason.

I think if Francis wasnt the spearhead on this I'd feel more inclined to actually play along with Flynns cute little prank.He was smart enough and

Yeah it speaks volumes on the stupidity of our congress, but it is to a point sad that alot of people wont get it....that they will actually be
outraged by the very mention of the porn industry asking the government to restock their load....

My opinions on the porn industry are irrlevant. They've never sought to cater to my tastes anyway and now the thought of our Congressmen and Women
