I did qualify my yes- it depends on what my other choices were. I do think there are worse choices in other words.

It's a free country, so your certainly entitled to feel that way. I don't happen to think that Bush=rock bottom, and that anyone else would definitely be an improvement. There are other Republicans that I would sooner vote for though. Of course it's all moot as Bush is leaving office and Obama is the next President.

Not a chance. Not like who you vote for really matters anyway though.

I would vote for a Palin/Bush ticket...

... Just because those speeches would be hilarious.

Not like it really matters whos in office.

All the Bush bashing! Do I think he was a great President, no. BUT he has been the better choice in both elections.

I would have voted for him this time over McCain or Obama. McCain is too much the puchover and Obama - well, this guy is fighting too hard to caver his past for me to ever trust.

All I can say is with all the talent and intelligence in this country, none of these 3 can possibly be our best choice.

To those of you who say yes....WOW.

Just goes to show you how deluded some people are. Reminds me of why some abused women stay with their abusers - from an outside perspective you just have to scratch your head.

Bush has abused our trust and took a crap on our civil rights. History will record him as a lying POS, that raped our Constitution with his Patriot Act.

I'm the first to admit I was wrong to vote for Bush the last two times.

I must of been seriously deluded then, but I'm glad to have awakened. A vote for McCain would of been another vote for Bush, so I voted for Obama this time around.

You gotta be f'ing kidding me with this mindset. What has George Bush done right in the last eight years? Can you even point out one positive action he has done for anyone other than his close buddies and family? The moron scammed us into spending 10+ BILLION dollars a month on a piece of crap country instead of spending that cash on his own people. WE need new infrastructure, more cops on the streets, better health care, better schools, ect. Instead our dollars are going to "Liberate" a country that really doesn't want us there. How can you change thousand of years of government by force?
Anwer this simple question- When u saw those trade towers crumble did you sit there and say to yourself" I think we should liberate Iraq and help them become a democratic country?" I didn't, I said lets go hunt those A-holes down and rip them apart. Problem is we were told that those A-holes were everything but Iraqi's.
I'm so sick of you Americanist's out there that just jump on the good old USA bandwagon, rather than actually caring about the rest of the world. Bottom line is You are not a TRUE American unless you demand that the president does what's best for your country. Not by bombing the crap out of others, but trying to gain as many friends as possible.
This isn't high school, in the real world the bully will get hit back harder than he hit. To be #1 and stay there you have to have numbers 2,,3,4,5, ect. behind you backing you up! Stop with the "We're the greatest country in the world talk. If you're #1, you don't have to say it, you just live it. You never once heard "Magic" Johnson say he was the best point gaurd in history. He didn't have too, he just played his game!

For me, it all depends upon who his opponent was. If the Democrats would field someone who even made an attempt at supporting the traditional values of the tens of millions of us in flyover territory, even another Bill Clinton, I would strongly consider it. But against guys like Obama, Gore and Kerry, who do not represent me in any way at all? Even with his weaknesses, I would gladly vote for Bush again if any of them were his opponent.

OMG, I can't believe anyone would vote for the WORST president in history AGAIN.

What's wrong with people?

Yes, anything to fight the giant government that the democrats are trying to create. Communism anyone?

What has Bush done in his 8 years that have been so bad? The Iraq war? Let me ask you this, if we would not have gone to war in Iraq and Afghanistan, would he be labeled as a coward and everyone hate him for that? Media bias at its best!

heh...heh
Well...Bush may not have been Reagan, but there ain't been another one like HIM.

He was so much better than the bottom of the barrel...like hmmm...Jimmy Carter (ouch!) and don't forget Bill the Thrill....he was fun, but not Pres. material. The wife was scary too!!!! In the past 10 years its come down to the lesser of the evils and Bush is the lesser of the evils! Thank God for allowing Bush to be there for the past 8 years. I shudder to think of the alternative...oh! but wait...it's coming in the next few weeks. After a couple of years of Socialist Set Up....we'll talk again. YOu might change your tune.

Who should I thank now that he is a goner?

DIVIDE AND CONQUER
Thanks so much for this post

The mainstream media does a fine job, esp. every four years, at convincing the reality-show-addicted masses [as if anything on television is actually "real"] that THEY are over there and YOU are over here, with US, on Fox/MSNBC/et al., and the subhumans that make up the OTHER side are [take your pick]:

evil
godless
lazy
un-American
baby-killers
illiterate
old
white
young
black
stupid
elitist
etc.

And to those of you who can't help but to broadly and clearly INSULT a fellow American who has the audacity to voice the opinion that he/she would vote for G.W. Bush again, I hope you can take a distinct pride in the FACT that you're doing EXACTLY what you've been programmed to do.

This is not a defense of Bush. Believe me, I'm not the man for that job. However, I am here to defend the right of all of us to voice our opinion, however unpopular, without having to weather these petty and hateful insults. Some of you seem to operate on the EMOTIONAL level of a 7th grader when it comes to topics like this.

Yeah, Bush had some terribly unpopular and misguided years as president. Surely, you don't think he was SOOO smart and powerful as to have come to these decisions himself, do you?

Remember, ALL of these guys are BOUGHT & PAID FOR. If you think your guy [or gal] is any "better" than the other, then you have a regrettably narrow view of your world. There's a couple of old sayings I'd suggest you keep in mind as you watch our world swirl away these next couple few years.

First, "follow the money."

Second, "who benefits?"

Humanity has this unfortunate tendency to project his/her wants/desires/hopes onto public figures. Someone watches a movie with Bruce Willis and says "I like that guy." Of course, they've never met Bruce Willis, but maybe he reminds them of their gym teacher in HS whom they had a latent crush on. Or maybe they sub-consciously envy him because he used to do Demi Moore. Whatever. And now, they "like that guy."

The extent to which Pres.-Elect Obama benefited from this very human tendency has been historic. After all, his public record was pretty sparse. And, America, he's of African descent...with a middle name of Hussein! Do you remember how much those things scare many ignorant Americans? Yet, HE WON. By a wide margin.

How did that happen? Is it because the same America which has been successfully fractioned into so many seemingly disparate pieces somehow mystically conjured up its better self, turning the page on a history of divisiveness, and fairy and squarely elected this man to be our president...with NO manipulation through the news media, entertainment industry, etc.?

In other words, is everything on the "up and up?" Some of your feelings will be hurt here because you've chosen to take any probing questions about our president-to-be as a personal attack [which is truly unfortunate, because when it all boils down to it, I love each and every one of you...ALL of you]. Ironic, because you're using the same flawed logic that hawks on the right used when they labeled those of us who questioned the wars and the official 9/11 story as treasonous.

Some of you may even try to tell me or yourself or any who care to listen that I'm a racist! Which, if you knew anything about me, personally, would really be worth an .

I hope some of you get my point. Our politicians are not our politicians. They belong to someone else. It is NOT constitutional. If you support Bush or Obama or Paul or Ringo or whomever, that's your right. I may not agree, but I will not call you names in the name of the "other" guy. "If you voted for Bush, you're a moran! Obama rules!" Same Kool-Aid, different color.

Finally, for the angriest of you out there. Ask yourself why you get so upset about this stuff. Because someone dared insult "your" guy/gal? Or because someone had the

I'm laughing...but you have the constitution to thank for the 8 year limit. Ya see, he served two terms...just like Bill....but managed (unline Bill) to not be impeached!
