If George Bush is running for office again, would you vote for him?

This is a simple question that yields a variety of answers. Whether you love him or hate him, or somewhere in between, you always wonder what someone else would do. So, well, would you? If he was eligible, and running, would you vote for him?

Yes

A simple answer to a simple question. I think I will probably be the only vote for him though.

I guess that's kind of like asking someone if they want to get kicked in the balls three times in a row. Perhaps if you are a masochist.

It depends on the opponant.
If it was either Kerry or Al Gore - yes, I would vote for Bush.
I also know that it is Congress that does everything and not the President, so laying it all at Bush's feet or any presidents feet is not always fair.

Yes

I have never seen a President to get Congress to give him everything he wanted. Whoever imagined that a lame duck President could get Congress to fork over 700 Billion dollars?

It depends on the opponent? Really? How about "it depends on the policies"?

I don't understand how after 8 years of this mess and disaster people still have the audacity to say they would vote for him! Seriously I thought when I first saw the title of this thread "surely no one is stupid enough to say they would vote for him at this point if they could", and oh boy am I surprised.

So you'd rather elect someone who waged 2 wars, one of them based on complete lies and fabrications, authorized torture, spied on Americans, completely obliterated the Constitution, mismanaged the Economy, and god knows what else but we'll probably only find years from now, than to take a chance on someone else new?

I don't even know what to say, other than "Wow! are we doomed or what"

I would vote for Bush again.

John Kerry would have handled the 911 situation a lot worse.

I would also like to add that those who don't support Bush, are obviously sheep who don't do any research .. but repeat everything from CNN or the MSM.

Hate me ... I say what others won't.

That's not the OP's premise. It's not if you would vote for him again in 2004. The question is if he would vote for Bush if was running for office again, meaning now.

I don't hate you for having that position, I feel sorry for you. I hope you get better soon from whatever condition you clearly have

In a word:
Wow.

For those of you still drunk on W Kool-Aid, I've got to admire your dedication to such an unpopular cause, if for absolutely nothing else.

The "bad cop" did what he was appointed [not elected; see: 2000; 2004] to do. And now, the "good cop" has been brought in to push WWIII into its next phase.

So much for popularity.

[g]od sold America,
Land that we've lost
Planned our downfall
And freefall
From the light
To the death from above

Please don't say "W Kool-Aid". I don't want to give them an actual excuse to keep using that ridiculous line. Stay above that mudslinging garbage.

I wouldn't.... But I cannot vote in the USA!

This reminds me of that old Borat joke:

"In Kazakhstan we always laugh when we hear Barbara Bush... Because Barbara means to eat and Bush means a bush..."

So I know there are some bushes I would vote for!
