Show us the reference to any casualties.

posphorus bombs are really nasty. From my understanding water won't put out the flame. If a fragment lands on you it will bury itself into your
skin and the only way to keep it from burning through your body is to dig it out with a knife.
I thinks its also the stuff from ww2 that The Luftwaffe dropped on London during the Blitz to burn the city to he ground. The allies also used it to
burn Tokyo and Dresden to oblivion.

I saw an interview with an American soldier who witnessed white phosphorus being sprayed over Fallujah by helicopters. He reported seeing both
fighter's and civilian's bodies burnt, yet their clothes were ok. It was called a "Papa Whiskey". Obviously officially a "smokescreen" too.
Nasty stuff.

conventions. White Phosphorus (WP), known as Willy Pete, is used for signaling, screening, and incendiary purposes. White Phosphorus can be used to

WP is what causes all the fireworks like flashes over the battlefield in the news casts. Very common. Used apparently to illuminate the battlefield
and cause night blindness in the enemy.
