Exactly. Ron Paul is speaking on a much higher level than Obaaammaa, who is just using crowd pleasing slogans and NLP. Alex Jones dissected one of his speeches once. It's true, loads of crowd manipulation techniques. Worth googling.
Ron Paul is an absolute hero. It's not about a "failed" presidential bid, although that was sad. We are in it for the long haul, and as the economy squeezes, they're gonna come looking for answers from the only sane man in Washington. People need Paul more than ever, and we shouldn't stop gently pushing him.
If people say "get over it, he lost" remind them that it is an enduring movement, and democracy is not about voting once every 4 years then going back to sleep. Then remind them of Bama's scary administration, especially the Monsanto guy. Frightening.
Ron Paul rules.
Ventura 2012. I'm serious.

Is it wrong for me to suggest that the Matrix Bush thing at the end was the best part of the entire video??

At first I thought that Dr. Paul was just speaking on it...as he does. But then it panned to that Inspector General David Kotz...OMG! Why the hell is this guy sitting in front of a review with no answers? Seriously, he can't answer where the money goes. Would that fly where you work? Not here! I was taken aback when the IG Kotz stated that the SEC outsources...what?! Why didn't someone pimpslap Kotz at the end of his grossly inadequate vomit that were spewed as his answers?

4 more years before WE can actually put Dr. Paul in position of POTUS...and what a relief that will be!

Paul / Nader 2012!!! The only candidates who'll save us from the Mayans!

It still beats me why this man has not been made Potus... he is the only one who knows what hes talking about. Sad world we live in.

Well, the answer is already in your question I would say.

They cannot afford to put a free thinking person in the White House.

He was the best candidate. But, he carries bad news and the majority
do not want to hear bad news even if it is the truth.

The two major parties should combine as their message is about the same.

Obama says *nothing*

I figured out the way he talks... he states a problem,, then he restates, then he kinda deconstructs it a little bit.. .then says why a solution is needed (which is basically restating the problem) and then says how it needs to be done ASAP.

Even if he is not the idealistic "perfect" president, he sure is better than the two knuckleheads listed above.

That is your judgement of whether any of the (3) would/will be good or bad.

And? I still fail to see your point. Every single person that voted for Obama made a judgment. Same goes for any other candidate. MY point is that logically speaking, Ron Paul speaks the OBVIOUS truth unlike the other candidates on many issues for the sake of their own image, which in turn hurts them (IMO - of course not on a general level, the man became president).

The problem is people vote for Republicans thinking that they stand for small government and individual liberties. They DONT and because we only have a two party system as the other parties are shunned we really get to choose between the lesser of two evils. The problem is when you look into the two evils you start to see they are really the same.

Do you think that in other countries is situation is better?

I'll tell you: mainly no
.

And lucky you, at least you have Dr. Ron Paul, but many countries don't have even that (like mine)
!

Ron Paul is a true American hero and is the closest thing we have to
Thomas Jefferson of this age. He knows how the corrupt systems work and exposes them all.

We hear Ron Paul should not be the man for president. If that is the case, I have NO IDEA why people PREFER McCain or Obama as the POTUS.

Even if he is not the idealistic "perfect" president, he sure is better than the two knuckleheads listed above.

I do not believe in much of the democrats ways of doing things, but I will not fully judge until time has played its course in Obamas presidency.

I am usually a republican supporter (not by name), but IMO McCain tossed his chance at presidency when picking Palin.

How is this relevant to the thread? It shows how SAD our government is when a potential president picks a running mate as such as Palin. It proves that a party will choose someone simply for the demographic.

As I said - I do not want to judge Obama and do not think he was picked for a demographic (to a certain extent yes). But I believe what McCain did by picking Palin was just blatantly obvious he wanted the woman vote.

Age restricted me from voting in the past election. I WOULD have voted for McCain. I would not have ever voted for Obama.

I feel a bit of shame that I wouldn't have voted for Ron Paul.

You can't pass judgement on Obama or McCain. OBama is not in office yet and therefore has no record of achievements (Good or bad). McCain will not be president so again you can't pass judgement on something that did not happen. There's no Presidential History of these two to say they did good for bad (In Obama's case,"Yet".).

The same applies to Ron Paul. He may be great, he could also be horrible. We won't know until he is actually the President.

Gut instinct is what we go on. My gut instincts have been wrong and right.

this is probably the most intelligent and forward thinking post i have read on here thus far IMO. the truth is that while we all have our own oppinions on who would have been best... until something drastic happens we are bound to live with what we have.

for those of you who feel like something needs to change, i suggest that you go change it.

and for the person who was age limited and could not vote... so not be ashamed of who you were thinking you would vote for. the fact that you ARE thinking about who you would vote for at your age says SO much. i commend you on that alone.

As far as i know Mr. Paul said he would refuse any offer to join either Obama's or McCains administration during the election. And why should he? He wouldn't be able to do much when everyone around him is headed toward a completely different direction.

I just hope that he keeps up the good fight and continues to keep his name and message out there...we will need him in 4 years.

The best thing we can do is continue to support him and let as many know about his cause as possible....because we know that the MSM and both political parties will ignore him.

Thanks for the comments.

Seriously though. I am a supporter of the good ol' republican way. McCain tried acting like a damn hollywood star more than anyone else.

At McCains speech stating he was withdrawing from the election (election night), he said that he did not know what he could have done better to help his election. What!!?!? I really did like the man from the start but he got so desperate to get votes that he ruined any chance he got.

Keep in mind. 49% of the popular vote. With that said, I think he lost a lot more half way through his election. I am not mad, but just disgusted at how ignorant a man could be. Maybe his age truly was coming into affect.

Obama on the other hand speaks the truth. That still doesnt mean I agree on his ideas one bit. Then again, Bush ran us into the ground with the republicans so who am I to speak good of republicans? I just think his liberal ways are to far out there.

So I am stuck. An obvious fool such as McCain that while generally I support his ideas, he is just to dumbfounded to have my support (especially Palin).

Obama. A man that IMO will not be to open to opposite ideas on the spectrum. He does not play the old crazy guy like McCain, but some of his ideas just plain suck.

Then Ron Paul. A candidate without millions of dollars to advertise, but in every single video we see of him he is speaking the obvious truth us Americans have always wanted to hear. But the problem is everyone is so far up their own ass to see that he is the candidate we really want (generally speaking).

Yes McCain might have done the best. Yes Obama might do the best. Yes Ron Paul might have sucked. That is so far beyond my point. He speaks what all of us republicans and democrats speak of.

I got a question I am unsure of. Why didn't Ron Paul run for the republican party, and when/if chosen to be their runner, just speak his own ideas and when president follow his own ideas? Is this to hard or shady or against his dignity?

Dr. Paul's explanation of the SEC giving a false sense of security is remarkably like Taleb's explanation.

Why the hell is this man not walking into the Oval Office on the 20th instead of that liberal jackass?

The more I hear him speak the more I realize that he was probably the best chance we had to pull ourselves out of our grave before the dirt is pushed in over top of us.

A once great man said "the nation will last til ppl realize they
can vote themselves entitlements"

Mr. Paul with his vision of a much smaller government at ALL levels
would mean a massive reduction in the largest employer in the US.

Most ppl cannot see that by putting the money back in the hands of
the ppl that would likely create more jobs by billions if not trillions
going back to the ppl of the US.

So in the common mans minds Ron Paul represents an empty cookie jar.

The sheeple want their free cookies, and the rich educated elite
are not going to take their free cookies away if they can help it.

So we keep moving toward socialism.

The only problem is the whole "house of cards" has over leveraged
itself with debt and most ppl do not even know just how bad a scam
has been setup for total collapse here in short order.

Lots of companies took their bad debt, moved it into a derivative
and hid it in the UNREGULATED and unlisted pink slips called the OTC.

OTC = Over The Counter market.

It was mostly small and dealt with penny stocks and the such so it
was deemed as not needing regulation by the SEC.

So it was a perfect taget for a gigantic shell game with honorable
mention going to Enron for the blueprint for it.

100's of trillions in derivates set to collapse

Mainstream news verification:

]Buffet and other claiming derivatives are being set to collapse

All this almost half a year before the collapse began in the fall of 2008.

Ppl already knew it was coming.

This was totally intentional.

Ron Paul and Peter Schiff called it a year in advance.

Who will stand trial for the greatest robbery of the american ppl ?

The looted 401k's pensions, and retirement funds ?

If I robbed a bank I'd be shot dead, these guys damn near robbed
every bank they just did it with ink pens and nice suits.

Good Luck to you all !
