looking for a free newsgroup

It is sad that usenet has become too pricey and i can afford it because of my situation. Does anyone use or know of any good free news groups. Your help would be appreciated.

Used to be you could go to Jammed.com and find a free Usenet feed.

It might be the same resource. Been about 5 years since I played with those.

Back in the day you could find 'em with read/write.

Some forums have a Usenet gateway built in.

I know bicycleforum has a Usenet gateway to rec.bicycles dot star, for example. (It's a web interface)
