First of can people please read the whole tread first before posting any thing, the Sun story for example has been posted before as have the bbc one. It doesnt need to come up every few posts. Otherwise this thread will just balloon out of proportion (like the yellowstone one), and it will be even more likely that things will be repeated again and again.
Yes we know the blade has been found, this doesnt mean the original story was bogus as at the time it had not been found. We still dont know how far away it was yet. It has been stated that it was possibly half a mile away.
Also i dont think anyone needs to relax, no one was panicking in the first place. This guy said they still dont know what caused it and that the UFO theory is a possibility.
Again please read the thread before posting so that new important info dosent get buried under repetitive stuff.
Thanks.

Well i appreciate what you are saying, however we were discussing this before the national papers got a hold of this story. I wish they had better thing to report on, and there is plenty of important things going on in the world today that they could report on other than taking the (you now what out) of the story. But hey that's the Sun for you!

edit for spelling (i could work for the sun with my spelling and grammar)

It is highly unlikely you work in the media, with all due respect. I know journalists and your English certainly does not meet their requirements. When I read the word "newpapers", I immediately ruled out the prospects.

The press are not experiencing a shortage of stories either (silly season) - there is a war currently occurring in the Middle East and the World markets are in chaos.

Sorry about the 'newpapers' thing, I must've missed a key!
I assure you, what was the headline on TV this morning?
and then what was second story?... Middle East? Nissan
job cuts? or interest rates because most Journo's have
mortgages.

OR MAYBE THE DANGERS OF WALKING ACROSS ICED PONDS!

Maybe I'm wrong, but I haven't lied.

See? the reporter walked towards the camera, past a huge pile
of steaming manure, 'flashes' a badge and shines a torch (in
daylight) into the camera lens! Mulder would be proud.

Then to 'pad' out the story, he 'investigated' the inside of
the barn!
A true serious report sir.

I'm pretty sure it was... they've sent it off for testing and are very excited about it.

Especially Nick Pope...

Yeah... i watched that a little earlier on C5... have to say that quite a few are covering it a little more seriously, but ALL still scoff/laugh at some point during the report...

Yes I heard that he is almost having a baby over it all.

If this happened as you say, and yes it's still a possibility, where's the wreckage disappeared to, and what of the bright lights and this octopus image over the turbine?
And another thing that is strange, 2 Police Helicopters taking avoiding action, now this--all use propellers, may be a link, who knows?

I'm at work now, we're reporting it too for tomorrow!
I know that a ATSer above doubted me due to my
English, I never said I WROTE for anybody, there are
other vocations in the media business.

Back on topic, it's just typical when it comes to today's
press, any Ufo report is handled as a 'silly' season'
article.
